Changes in Benefits Deductions
TAMPA, Fla. (Dec. 2, 2008) - Did you make changes to your benefits during open enrollment this fall? Many insurance benefits offered by the university are paid a month in advance.
If you made changes to your insurance, or if your existing insurance vendors have rate changes that take effect in January (see list below), you will see those changes in your Dec. 5 and Dec. 19 paychecks.
Plans with rate changes you’ll see reflected in December paychecks:
CIGNA and Assurant Heritage Plus Dental Plans
All ALTA Hospital Supplemental
You may wish to compare your deductions against your Nov. 21 paycheck. Changes to flexible spending accounts will be reflected in your Jan. 2 paycheck. For more information, contact a benefits representative on your campus or call People First, USF’s third-party administrator, at 1-866-663-4735.
