USF School of Music Groundbreaking

TAMPA, Fla. (Jan. 28, 2009) -- The College of Visual & Performing Arts is proud to announce the groundbreaking of the new School of Music building on Thursday, Jan. 29.

Plans for the state-of-the-art facility include a 500-seat recital hall; a 100-seat student recital hall; dedicated instrumental, chorus and jazz rehearsal spaces; classrooms; faculty studios and offices; practice rooms; administrative offices and more.

The college anticipates that the first classes will be held in the new building in the fall of 2010.
