Super Bowl Connections: USF & NFL

TAMPA, Fla. (Jan. 29, 2009)  The Super Bowl connections between USF and the NFL continue to make news this week.

The latest is the Gramatica brothers - Martin, Santiago and Bill - taping a segment with NBC late-night host Conan O'Brien at Jefferson High School.

The segment was initially scheduled to be taped at USF, but the Steelers and NBC were not able to free up enough time on the practice fields.

The camera crews were out at the high school and were able to capture the priceless image of O'Brien and the Gramaticas throwing up the Bulls hand sign.

Bill Gramatica kicked for USF from 1998-2000 and Santiago was on the team from 2001-04.  Martin was an All-American at Kansas State.
