USF Engineers Without Borders Hosts Fundraiser

TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 16, 2009) -- USF student organization Engineers Without Borders is hosting a benefit Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City to raise money to fund their international service project, "Water for Miramar," which aims to bring clean water to the Dominican Republic.

Betty Castor, former USF president and current director of the Patel Center for Global Solutions, will serve as the guest speaker, and all proceeds from the dinner will benefit the service project.
