USF Health Wellness Day March 27
TAMPA, Fla. (March 13, 2009) -- In honor of National Public Health Week, the USF College of Public Health will host its annual Wellness Day Friday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Auditorium A and in the Chiles Center / COPH / FMHI courtyard.
The day's events include:
"Ten Years Younger"
A lecture by Steven Masley, M.D.
11 a.m. to 12 noon
College of Public Health Auditorium A
Dr. Steven Masley will present steps anyone can take to prevent or reverse Type 2 diabetes and eliminate symptoms of cardiovascular disease. Questions from the audience will be entertained at the conclusion of this presentation.
Healthy Fun Walk
12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
College of Public Health Area
Join colleagues and friends on a short walk around the College of Public Health with Nicole Johnson, MA, MPH, USF Alumnae and former Miss America 1999 and Donna Petersen, MHS, ScD, Dean and Professor, USF College of Public Health.
