Careers in Aging Week

TAMPA, Fla. (April 8, 2009) -- The School of Aging Studies in the College of Behavioral & Community Sciences is hosting a “Careers in Aging Week” April 12-18.

The week-long emphasis will include a “Lunch and Learn” sponsored by the Gerontological Society of America on Wednesday, April 15 from noon to 1:30 pm. Presenters from the School of Aging Studies will discuss careers in aging and the panel will be followed by a question and answer session. Current research posters reflecting the work performed by faculty and students will be displayed.

Pizza will be provided. All undergraduate, master and doctoral students, as well as faculty, staff and alumnae are welcome to attend. For more information, contact 974-2414.

The week will conclude on Friday, April 17 with a presentation by GSA/ESPO students to faculty and staff recognizing their dedication to learning and research within the field of aging.
