Witte Appointed Associate Director of USF Foundation Board
TAMPA, Fla. (July 27, 2009) -- India Waller Witte has been appointed to the position of Associate Director of Foundation Board Relations.
Witte previously served as the Associate Director of the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations, the statewide membership organization for Florida’s K-12 public education foundations, where her responsibilities included providing strategic capacity building guidance and board development and fund raising consultation services to 54 member foundations. These skills will readily translate to her new role as the manager of the USF Foundation Board of Trustees.
Witte brings to the position over twelve years’ experience in various areas of fundraising, constituent relations and the overall advancement of public educational institutions. A graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelors degree in English, she has held positions in fundraising, event planning and program management in the University Advancement divisions of Florida State University and the University of South Florida.
Witte began her career as a Bull almost 10 years ago as Director of Special Events and Facility Manager for the USF Alumni Association. Upon moving to the Foundation, India was charged with directing the development efforts of USF’s School of Architecture + Community Design, College of The Arts, Institute on Aging and Office of International Studies, and ended her prior tenure as Director of Development for the USF Honors College.
