NetID Password Expiration

TAMPA, Fla. (January 21, 2010) – On August 13, 2009, USF began requiring all USF faculty, staff and students to change their NetID passwords every 180 days. If you have not changed your NetID password within the past 180 days, please do so before Feb. 8.

If you are not sure whether or not you need to update your NetID at this time, login to NetID account services, and if your password is going to expire within 30 days, you will see a “Password will Expire” warning message. Follow the link and reset your password.

If you are too late, and your password has already expired, simply follow the NetID password reset instructions to reset your password.

In the future, you may want to mark your calendar so you remember to reset your NetID every six months.

Please note that your NetID password is not the same as your Windows (workstation) or eUSF login, but it is what you use to connect to many USF applications, including USF-GOLD Wireless, Parking Services and Careers@USF.
