USF Center for Autism and Related Disabilities Resources
TAMPA, Fla. (February 9, 2010) – The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at USF is a community-based project that provides information and consultation to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities.
CARD-USF offers instruction and coaching to families and professionals through a training and assistance model. The center is currently offering the following resources and events that may benefit you and your family:
CARD will host its 2010 Autism Health and Wellness Symposium Saturday, March 27 from noon to 4 p.m. at the C.W. Young Joint Military Leadership Center at USF. The event is designed to promote healthy living for individuals with disabilities.
CARD is also partnering with area businesses to help them become “autism friendly” as part of their Autism Fits Campaign.
In addition, CARD will host its fifth annual Fiesta by the Bay April 23.
