Cole Named Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies

TAMPA, Fla. (March 8, 2010) -- Katharine Cole has accepted the position of Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies, effective March 19, 2010.
Cole joined the university in 1998 as a faculty administrator, then became director of undergraduate studies for the College of Arts and Sciences in 2003, and was named assistant dean of CAS in 2005.


Cole will work with the academic colleges, departments and academic support units, and in partnership with the many programs and services in Student Affairs. She will join us as we continue to work for effective, coordinated relationships throughout the university to strengthen our efforts in ensuring student success in every aspect of students’ growth and development while at USF.


Cole earned her PhD in pathology at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, where she also served on the faculty as assistant professor of pathology and director of the Electron Microscopy and Histology Laboratories.
