Celebrate USF Day April 9

TAMPA, Fla. (April 7, 2010) -- All students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate school spirit and university pride by participating in the first USF Day Friday, April 9.


The celebration kicks off with a pep rally from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the MSC Amphitheater, and culminates with the Campus Activity Board's Seventh Annual Bullstock Concert from 5:30 to 11 p.m. at Meadows Field.


The pep rally features free food, music, a mechanical bull, bungee run, obstacle course, stilt walker, balloon artist, face painters, airbrush tattoo artists, and caricature artists. Special appearances include Head Football Coach Skip Holtz, Student Body President Juan Soltero, the USF Sundolls, the USF Cheerleaders, the Herd of Thunder Marching Band, and Rocky the Bull.


The concert features performances by We the Kings, The Maine, J. Cole, Stereo Skyline, and The Gallery, as well as more free food, novelties, activities, and a fireworks show.
