MoBull Messenger Emergency Notification System Update

TAMPA, Fla. (May 17, 2010) -- As of May 16, 2010, USF will no longer use GEMS Self-Service to provide faculty and staff cell phone numbers to the MoBull Messenger emergency notification text messaging service.


From this point forward, USF faculty and staff will need to login to the MoBull Messenger to the Information Technology Web site in order to opt in or opt out of receiving emergency text alerts.

 

If you have already subscribed to emergency notifications from MoBull Messenger via GEMS Self-Service, no further action is required.

 

If not, please follow the following instructions to opt in, opt out, or make changes:

1. Visit the NetID Account Services Web site, and login using your NetID.

2. Click Update Emergency Notification Settings

3. Follow instructions to Opt In. You will need to provide your mobile phone number and select your campus location(s) for alerts.

4. Click Submit
