Backyard Conservation

TAMPA, Fla. (May 26, 2010) – Water conservation methods used in USF’s Botanical Gardens was the subject of a recent episode of the national television program House Smarts ™ – a 30-minute home improvement show hosted by Fred Manfredini. Manfredini interviewed USF Botanical Garden Director Laurie Walker for the show, as well as gardener Kevin Slaughter who demonstrated how to construct a rain barrel.
