TAMPA, Fla. (August 26, 2010) – For the past week, new and returning students have relished in the 100 plus events offered through the University of South Florida’s Week of Welcome (WOW).

Each day of WOW has brought students the opportunity to connect with the campus and their fellow Bulls. From beach bonanzas and bicycle tours to Kick-Offs and kickball, WOW events have run the gamut.

But the Week of Welcome is not just about fun and games – it’s also about helping students get acclimated to their new environment.

WOW immerses students in campus culture by introducing them to academic and campus resources and encouraging them to increase their awareness. Throughout the week, students have learned about academic expectations, student organizations, multiculturalism, healthy living, campus diversity, volunteerism, and more.
