TAMPA, Fla. (Dec. 9, 2010) – On November 30th, 2010, at the University of South Florida's Marshall Student Center, members of Col.S.A. (Colombian Student Association) and The Icla da Silva Foundation held a bone marrow drive for leukemia patients. The drive featured a young boy, Santiago, who has leukemia and is awaiting a donor.

During the USF event, students registered as bone marrow donors throughout the day. Col.S.A. members talked about how someone can be a registered marrow donor. The Icla da Silva Foundation's recruitment specialist Mauricio Murillo spoke about how this event came to USF and how anyone can help this cause. For more information go to www.icla.org.
