Bold, Spirited Graphics Transform Physical Plant Vehicles

Administrative Services is pleased to unveil a new and bold look for two familiar Physical Plant vehicles.

There will be no mistaking the USF Postal Service vehicle as it travels the 10.5 miles of roadway across the Tampa campus to make its daily rounds. This box truck also joins our ever-growing fleet of energy efficient, solar-powered vehicles in use here at USF and can be powered via the sun or by electricity. This solar/electric vehicle can travel up to 50 miles on a single charge! The stamps were designed by the Physical Plant team to promote the university's commitment to Student Success, Sustainability and Global initiatives, and to being Unstoppable.

New graphics have also been applied on USF's garbage/recycling truck to clearly mark our commitment to recycling. The truck can hold as much as 20 years of waste/recyclables per load and meets the latest in pollution standards. Did you know that USF recycles 588 tons of mixed paper and three tons of aluminum each year? In addition, the truck hauls 820 tons of garbage each year.
