Student Success "Take 15" Campaign
The Office of Student Success has initiated a communications campaign designed to encourage students to enroll in 15 credit hours per semester.
Development of the "Take 15" campaign was prompted by a recent article in Inside Higher Education, which detailed efforts of California community colleges to show students the financial gains they realize by enrolling as a full-time student. You can read the full article here.
In an effort to communicate this valuable information to our students, the Office of Student Success is working with University Communications and Marketing to develop a consistent and comprehensive communications plan for continuing and future students.
The campaign messaging will be shared with students in a variety of ways, including Oracle ads, campus digital screens, orientation materials, electronic publications and emails, websites and more. In addition, academic advisors will communicate this message to students during face-to-face meetings. You can view a sample ad here.
