USF System Strategic Plan Development

The USF System Strategic Plan 2010-2015 was approved by the USF Board of Trustees on June 24, 2010. Five task forces were then appointed, each one charged with the development of Action Steps and Metrics for one of the five Strategic Goals. The recommendations of the  task forces were further reviewed and refined by a committee consisting of the chairs of the five task forces.

The USF System Strategic Plan 2010-2015 is the first comprehensive plan for the System. It complements the strategic plans of the individual System institutions (USF Tampa, USF St Petersburg, USF Sarasota-Manatee and USF Polytechnic) and provides a blueprint for the future.

The proposed Action Steps and Metrics for the USF System Strategic Plan 2010-15 are now available for review and comment by the USF System community on the USF System web site.

I am requesting that you forward this message to faculty, staff and administrators at your institution or in your area so that all may have an opportunity to review the Action Steps and Metrics and submit their comments by close of business on Monday, May 16, 2011. Directions for submitting comments are posted on the web site.
