Student Employment@USF will host two separate types of workshops this summer to help faculty and staff involved in the student employment process understand the changes in student employment beginning on June 1, 2011.



Inside the Administrative Role: Understanding 2011-2012 Changes in FWS, SSE, & Temporary Student Employment (BPC112)

This workshop is recommended for those who handle recruiting, selecting, appointing and paying student employees. Attendees will learn about the new process for posting student jobs, including Federal Work Study, in Careers@USF, HR's online job application system. This workshop is offered seven times over the summer for your convenience. It is for those who directly supervise students in their day-to-day roles. Student Employment@USF Supervisors will gain an in-depth understanding of the Student Employment@USF initiative as well as learn strategies for promoting student success through on-campus employment. Please encourage anyone in your area involved in the supervision of student employees to register for one of these sessions. A light lunch will be served for all attendees at this workshop.
