ResearchOne Moves to a Year-Round Format

The Office of Research & Innovation has announced a new, year-round format for ResearchOne. ResearchOne features activities and events highlighting the work of researchers across the USF System.

Formerly a single week of events held each October, ResearchOne is expanding to showcase USF research-related events and activities held throughout the year. The new format includes events currently presented by USF units along with new events, to celebrate the remarkable work USF researchers are doing every day.

"Our goal remains to stimulate researchers and others throughout the university to learn more about the innovative work of their colleagues," said Karen Holbrook, Senior Vice President for Research, Innovation & Global Affairs. "We hope it will be easier for everyone to attend events if so many are not grouped together in a single week."

The new ResearchOne website provides a clearinghouse for information on research-related events and features a Calendar of Events, along with photos, videos, news, and feature stories.

Event organizers are invited to submit events to the calendar via an online form on the website, and to share links, articles, photos, etc. about their events for the website. The website features additional resources, including downloadable ResearchOne logos.

With the intention of encouraging new events, the Office of Research & Innovation, in collaboration with ResearchOne sponsors, is offering the opportunity to apply online for limited funding to support research-related events. Applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event.
