Campus Recreation Offers Summer Fitness Programs
USF’s Campus Recreation Center is offering a number of programs aimed at family fitness this summer.
Beginner-level dance classes are available for children ages 5-13. The classes will be held on Saturdays from June 18 to Aug. 20. They cost $60 for the first five weeks or the last five weeks, and $120 for all 10 weeks. For more information, call Campus Recreation at 813-974-7084. To sign up, click here.
Learn to Swim classes for children ages 3 and up will be held at Campus Rec’s indoor pool and cost $135 per child. Three sessions remain: June 6-23, June 27-July 14 (except on the Fourth of July), and July 18-Aug. 4. Each session will consist of a dozen 45-minute classes, which will run from Monday through Thursday at 10 a.m., 5:30 p.m., or 6:30 p.m. For more information, click here.
Bullfit, an outdoor
exercise program modeled after boot-camp training, is also offered for adults.
This intense program costs $55 per month and consists of two one hour long
classes a week for four weeks. Participants must be in good health and all
equipment is provided. For more information, click here.
Campus Recreation can also hold private group fitness classes in yoga, Pilates, spinning, kickboxing, Piloxing, toning, or Zumba almost anywhere on or off campus for 10-50 participants.
