Human Resources Announces New Associate Vice President

Administrative Services is pleased to announce that after a national search Theresa A. Drye will be joining USF as Associate Vice President, Division of Human Resources. Terri has served as the Chief Administrative Officer & Vice President of Human Resources at Nanticoke Health Services in Seaford, Delaware since 2008. She joined Nanticoke Health Services in 2006 as Vice President, Human Resources and Ancillary Services. As a seasoned human resource professional since 1990, Terri brings to USF extensive experience and leadership in Human Resource administration and strategic planning.

 

"Theresa brings a wealth of human resource management knowledge, leadership, and expertise to the University of South Florida. We are delighted to have her join the USF family and know she will make a difference at the university and also in the Tampa Bay community which it serves," said Sandy Lovins, Vice President, Administrative Services, at the University of South Florida.

 

With an MBA degree from Robert Morris University and a baccalaureate degree from Chatham College, both located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Terri has also held adjunct professor positions at Salisbury University, Salisbury, Maryland, and Point Park University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, teaching courses in Human Resource Management, Healthcare Management, Compensation and Benefits, Employment Law, Labor Relations, Organizational Behavior and Industrial Psychology.

 

Her professional affiliations include the Society of Human Resource Management Executive Council, the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources, and the Society of Human Resource Management. She is a board member of the American Heart Association, a past vice president of the University Professional Association of Human Resources and a past board member of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, Transportation Committee.
