TAMPA, Fla. (Aug. 9, 2011) – Not exactly Ken Kesey-esque, but new faculty at the University of South Florida enjoyed a bus trip Monday through downtown and surrounding points of interest as part of an orientation to the school and the community.
A highlight in the tour, which took faculty past museums, shopping areas, the Florida Aquarium, Channelside and sports facilities, was lunch at the Columbia restaurant in historic Ybor City. The luncheon was hosted by members of USF Town & Gown.
