TAMPA, Fla. (Aug. 25, 2011) – Most of today’s college students are too young to remember the fashion and music of the 80s and 90s, but SISTUHS, Inc. at the University of South Florida decided to take us back in time for Week of Welcome.

SISTUHS, Inc. is a community service organization that aims to develop local leadership to respond to the community’s needs while also positively enhancing the image of African-American women. The group meets every other Sunday at 5:30 p.m. in MSC 3711.

Featured guests were USF’s Relentless Dance Troupe, a talented group of students decked out in retro hairstyles and spandex for last Tuesday night’s throwback party.

Hundreds of students attended the event and enjoyed free pizza, soda and a live DJ.
