Minimum Wage Set to Increase at Start of 2012
Florida's minimum wage will increase to $7.67 per hour effective Jan. 1, 2012, according to the State of Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation. This is an increase of $.36 over the current minimum wage of $7.31.
No employees in the staff, administration, or faculty pay plans will be affected by this change, but approximately 500 hourly temporary employees will see an increase in their wages.
