Temporary Parking Lot Closures Jan. 17-24, 2012

 

TAMPA, Fla. (Jan. 9, 2012) – USF will host the NBC News, Tampa Bay Times, National Journal Republican Presidential Candidates Debate Monday, Jan. 23, 2012. To accommodate the debate, the following parking lot closures will occur:


Lot 3A will close Tuesday, Jan. 17 - Monday, Jan. 23. Alternate parking is located in the Crescent Hill Garage.

 

Lot 3B will close Tuesday, Jan. 17 - Tuesday, Jan. 24. Alternate parking is located in the Crescent Hill Garage, Lots 3D and 42 for "E" and "D" permits, and in Laurel Garage level 4 for "S" permits.
 
Lot 3C will close Monday, Jan. 23. Alternate parking is located in the Crescent Hill Garage, Lots 3D and 42 for "E" and "D" permits, and Laurel Garage level 4 for "S" permitsAfter 5 p.m., overflow parking will be directed to parking lot 42 off Holly Drive and the Laurel Garage.
 
Lot 5A Resident Parking will close Saturday, Jan. 21 - Monday, Jan. 23. Resident parking will temporarily be relocated to Parking Level 6 in the Crescent Hill Garage. "R" permit holders may begin parking on level 6 Friday, Jan. 20 at 5 p.m. Alternate "R" parking is located in Lots 5E, 17A, 17B and 35.
 
Lot 9C will be closed Monday, Jan. 23. Alternate parking is located in the Crescent Hill Garage, Lots 3D and 42 for "E" and "D" permits.
 
Parking Designations levels 1 through 5 in Crescent Hill Garage will remain in effect.
 
Individual and departmental reserved parking spaces located within these closed lots will be temporarily relocated within the Crescent Hill Garage, or the nearest available surface parking lot.
 
Marshall Student Center Cedar Circle will close Monday, Jan. 23. USF Bull Runner Service at the MSC Circle will be temporarily relocated. To view the temporary stop locations, click here.
 
Vehicles found parking in these lots and locations after these appointed closure times without appropriate credentials will be towed off campus at the owner’s expense by University Police.


To accommodate debate and watch party guests and attendees, parking permits will not be required on the north side of campus on Monday, Jan. 23 from 5 p.m. - midnight. All numbered and labeled reserved parking spaces will remain enforced.

 

Parking will resume as normal on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012.
