Admissions Events Showcase USF for Prospective Students

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will host a number of events this weekend to recruit well-qualified students who meet USF’s increasingly rigorous academic profile. Each event will feature activities and resources designed to entice students to select USF as their college of choice. Events include the following:

Scholars Showcase

April 13, 3:00–8:00 p.m.

Business Administration (BSN)

High-ability students have many choices when selecting a college. Scholars Showcase is designed to court this important cohort through direct interaction with Honors College advisors, academic deans and faculty, staff, and students in an intimate setting. Invited students include those who qualify for the Provost’s Scholars Program (3.80 GPA with a 27 ACT/1200 SAT and at least 18 college credits upon enrollment) and/or the Honors College (3.80 GPA with a 29 ACT/1300 SAT). Attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and dinner while talking one-on-one with faculty and administrators; participate in a mini lecture with Honors College faculty; view and discuss student research projects; interact with USF students to discover what it’s like to be a Bull—both academically and socially; and learn about accelerated programs (such as the seven-year medical program), research opportunities, and the Honors College advising process.

Scholars Showcase is by invitation only. For more information, please visit

Stampede to Success

April 14

9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Marshall Student Center (MSC)

A campus visit is a critical factor in the college selection process for most students. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions provides much more than just a campus tour through its signature Stampede to Success program. By providing experiences that allow students to explore USF in-depth–both in and out of the classroom–Stampede to Success shines a spotlight on the university’s most unique qualities.

Featured sessions include academic program previews led by faculty; an overview of The Honors College; financial aid and scholarship opportunities; USF student panels; an overview of student life; walking campus and residence hall tours; and a showcase of student-centered departments.

Stampede to Success is open to all interested students. Learn more at
