Working in TEAMS to improve patient safety

USF Health TEAMS Center provides training for health professionals.

 

 

TAMPA, Fla. (Jan. 09, 2012) – The USF Health Team Education and Multidisciplinary Simulation (TEAMS) Center trains up and coming health professionals and hones their seasoned counterparts. In the style of practice makes perfect, these doctors, nurses, therapists and other health professionals run drills based on what happens in the clinical setting.

 

The simulation center is preparing for its move to the Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS), where it will become a part of the Virtual Patient Care Center.
