2012 USF Student Body Elections

Polling stations will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, through Thursday, March 1.

 

TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 27, 2012) — University of South Florida Student Government will be holding its annual General Election next week, starting Monday, Feb. 27, and ending Thursday, March 1. The positions of Student Body President and Vice President are up for grabs in addition to the roughly sixty seats available in the SG Senate. Two referendums will be on the ballot as well, one that will chose the 2012 Our Shirt design and another, the Real Food USF referendum, allows students to voice their support for the availability of more sustainable food options on the University campus.

 

 

SG will host an Election Kickoff on Monday, Feb. 27, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in front of the Marshall Student center featuring giveaways and free food.

 

Polling stations will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day of voting, though students can vote at any time through their Blackboard accounts. Polling stations are located in front of Andros Dining Hall, Argos Dining Hall, the Business Administration Building, Campus Recreation, Cooper Hall, inside the main lobby of Juniper-Poplar Hall, in the SG Computer Services lab and in the Marshall Student Center Amphitheatre.
