Bulls Fall Short in Big Dance

The USF Bulls had a good ride in the NCAA's Big Dance, but came up just short against Ohio.

TAMPA, Fla. (March 18, 2012) – A game of Bulls and Bobcats.

It was a great ride by the University of South Florida's men's basketball team, but they were outdistanced by Ohio Sunday and fell short of moving on to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.

The Bulls made a fantastic showing in the tournament, but just couldn't top the tenacious defense and three-point shooting of the Ohio Bobcats. Overall, however, this was a fabulous season for the Bulls and Coach Stan Heath, who was named Big East coach of the year earlier.
