WOW and Move In Day

Bull Haulers were out in force Wednesday, helping USF students move into residential halls.

TAMPA, Fla. (Aug. 22, 2012) – Activity around residence halls at the University of South Florida was jamming Wednesday as USF students moved into their rooms and shared heart-felt goodbyes with parents and friends.

The students and parents were helped by Bull Haulers, upper-class students who muscled in suitcases, backpacks and boxes to the rooms.

Wednesday kicked off the start of Week of Welcome at USF, a tradition that showcases hundreds of events, programs and offerings that helps students acclimate back to school, renews old friendships and creates new ones.

The WOW Kickoff Celebration will be held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Marshall Student Center. It features a balloon drop (watch it live on the MSC webcam), free food and great prizes.
