TAMPA, Fla. (Oct. 1, 2012) – In honor of upcoming Homecoming celebrations, the University of South Florida is collecting photos of Homecomings past from the USF community.

Homecoming is a USF tradition that dates back to 1964. Early USF Homecomings were scheduled around USF basketball games. Since the 1997 inaugural season, USF Homecomings have been scheduled during football season.

Did you attend Homecoming events while studying at USF? You can submit your photos for the chance to be featured on the USF homepage and social media sites! Here’s how:

·         Gather your old Homecoming photos.

·         Attach photos to an email with the subject line “USF Homecoming photos”.

·         Include your name, affiliation with USF, year the photo was taken, title of Homecoming event where the photo was taken, name organization or individuals featured in picture.

·         Email them to social@usf.edu by October 19.
