Emergency Siren System Testing

Testing of the emergency siren system has been scheduled for Monday, December 17, 2012, at 4 p.m. For testing purposes, Westminster Chimes are used. Periodic testing of the emergency siren system is part of the university’s ongoing commitment to the safety of its students, faculty, staff and visitors. Located throughout the USF Tampa campus, the eight emergency stations house a siren, loudspeaker and a strobe light. The sirens are not intended to reach individuals inside buildings or facilities on campus.

Please contact Mr. Paul Latham, USF Emergency Manager, at 813-974-1310 or platham@usf.edu for additional information.
