TAMPA, Fla. (February 5, 2012) – To encourage Twitter users to vote in the Shorty Awards, the University of South Florida is giving away a private photo shoot with Rocky the Bull. Below you will find the complete contest guidelines.
Three winners will receive a private photo shoot with the USF mascot Rocky the Bull. A professional photographer provided by the USF Communications and Marketing Office will conduct the shoot, which will take place on the USF Tampa campus. Winners will have the opportunity to pose for individual and group photos with Rocky. Following the photo shoot, winners will receive digital copies of the photos.
The Rocky Photo Shoot contest is open to current USF students who have a personal Twitter account, excluding employees of the USF Office of Communications and Marketing. Participants must be a person – businesses and organizations with Twitter profiles are not eligible to win. There is no entry fee.
Contest winners are required to complete an image release form granting the University of South Florida the right to reproduce and use the image, or images, in any manner consistent with the promotion of the University of South Florida, and it’s affiliated agencies. Such use may include, but is not limited to: publication, display, advertising, editorial illustration, web use, broadcast.
Limit one entry per person. Each participant must perform the following tasks to be considered eligible for the prize:
1. Follow the University of South Florida on Twitter at twitter.com/usfnews.
2. Send a tweet with the following phrase: “I nominate @USFNEWS for a Shorty Award in #BNCollege because (insert reason here)”. Votes without a reason will not be counted.
3. Check shortyawards.com/usfnews to ensure that your vote displays properly. Votes that do no appear on this page will not be considered for entry into this contest. If your vote is missing, email a link to your tweet to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tweets must be sent and display on shortyawards.com/usfnews by 11:59 p.m. EST on February 18, 2013.
Following the close of the contest, three winners will be chosen at random from the pool of eligible participants. Participation in the contest constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and all other requirements set forth herein. Winners may be required to show proof of eligibility.
Winners will be notified by USF Communications and Marketing via email or phone call the week of February 20, 2013.
