Win a Photo Shoot with Rocky

Twitter users who tweet a nomination for USF in the Shorty Awards could win a photo shoot with the famous mascot.

TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 5, 2013) – The University of South Florida is nominated for a Shorty Award, which recognizes the best social media users.

 

To encourage Twitter users to vote in the Shorty Awards, the University of South Florida is giving away an exclusive photo shoot with Rocky the Bull. For complete contest guidelines, click here.

 

To participate in this contest, perform the following tasks:

1.    Follow the University of South Florida on Twitter at http://twitter.com/usfnews.

2.    Send a tweet with the following phrase: “I nominate @USFNEWS for a Shorty Award in #BNCollege because (insert reason here)”. Votes without a reason will not be counted.

3.    Check shortyawards.com/usfnews to ensure that your vote displays properly. Votes that do no appear on this page will not be considered for entry into this contest. If your vote is missing, email a link to your tweet to social@usf.edu.

4.    After you see your vote properly display on shortyawards.com/usfnews, email your name, email address, phone number, and link to your tweeted vote to social@usf.edu.

 

The annual Shorty Awards honor the people and organizations that produce real-time short content across the social web. This year, Barnes & Noble is sponsoring the college category, which recognizes B&N campus partners using social media to drive student engagement.
