Update: MyUSF Portal

As many of you know, over the past year we have put considerable effort into updating the university's web presence by implementing a CMS solution that makes it easy for faculty and staff to post content on university websites.

We have also been working on updating our intranet presence, commonly known on campus as the MyUSF Portal. An upgraded version of the MyUSF Portal is scheduled to launch on Friday, May 31. You can view a preview of the new portal here.

The MyUSF portal is a tool that enables USF students, faculty and staff to access university applications in one central location. The updated portal will feature several upgrades, including:

- A new home page with updated USF branding
- Improved navigation
- Improved security with the delivery of targeted information based on role (ie: student, faculty or staff)
- A place for academic and administrative units to house their internal content, such as departmental policies, procedures and forms, in a searchable format

To help us prepare for a successful launch, we’ve engaged a test group of more than 50 representatives, including students, faculty and staff, business system owners, and representatives from HR and University Communications and Marketing.

Please note that units that are currently working on migrating their website content into the CMS will also use the CMS to migrate their internal content into the portal. Training and resources are available to assist in this process.

We look forward to bringing you a much-enhanced MyUSF experience.
