Employee Assistance Program Eating Behavior Screenings February 28
The Employee Assistance Program is offering eating behavior screenings for faculty and staff, Thursday, Feb. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the EAP Office in SVC2128. Written self-assessments will be followed by one-on-one meetings in a private office with an EAP clinician who can talk about results and make an appropriate referral. College of Education Hosts Children's Festival March 1
Join the USF College of Education for the 2008 Children's Festival, Saturday, March 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in and around the College of Education building. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Dr. Paulette Walker.
Grace Allen Memorial March 7
A university memorial service celebrating the life of Mrs. Grace Allen, wife of USF's first president, John Allen, will be held Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m. in Traditions Hall at the USF Alumni Center. President Judy Genshaft, Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio, and others will share tributes. The service is open to the public.
Faculty & Staff Appreciation Event March 8
The Faculty & Staff Appreciation Event, hosted by President Genshaft, is Saturday, March 8 at 4 p.m. before the USF / Notre Dame basketball game. Tickets are on sale through March 4. For more information, click here.
School of Theatre and Dance Presents The Taming of the Shrew
The USF School of Theatre and Dance presents the British International Theatre (BRIT) Program's modern version of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. The show's final performances are scheduled for March 1 at 8 p.m. and March 2 at 3 p.m. in Theatre 1 on the USF Tampa Campus. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $6 for students and seniors and can be purchased through the CVPA box office by calling 813-974-2323 or clicking here.
Jazz Masterworks Series presents In the Vanguard
The Jazz Surge will play a concert featuring the music and style of the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra with special guests Drummer John Riley and the VJO's composer-in-residence Jim McNeeley, Saturday, March 8 at 8 p.m. in Theatre 1.
