USF Launches The Global Citizens Project

As part of USF's reaffirmation of accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) in 2015, USF is required to submit a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP).

The QEP provides an opportunity for the entire university community to work together on an area of student learning needing improvement and deemed important by the university.

The QEP Steering Committee, composed of university students, alumni, faculty, staff and administrators, has selected The Global Citizens Project as the theme of the 2015 QEP.

The purpose of The Global Citizens Project is to provide USF students with significant, intentional learning experiences that prepare them to lead meaningful and productive lives in a global society.

All members of the university community are invited and encouraged to participate defining what it means to be a global citizen and to provide, expand, and enhance opportunities for USF students to learn and develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a global citizen.

To that end, the QEP Steering Committee has prepared a survey designed to help the university define the project. Please take a moment to take the survey

In addition to the survey, a website providing more information about the QEP, including details about how you can get involved, is scheduled to launch tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 18. Please visit tomorrow for more details.
