Two-Color Printing Available at 3D Lab

Students and faculty can choose from a variety of printing colors in the Advanced Visualization Center.

Two color printing is now available at the 3D Print Lab. Students and faculty can choose from a variety of colors while turning 2D images into 3D. Visit to see the full list of available colors to select from. All artwork must be approved by AVC Staff and will be supervised while printing. 

Stop by AVC Print Lab located in CMC 147 to get started, or submit your file by emailing Howard Kaplan at

Mon – Friday   9:00am – 5:00pm 

$2 per print – up to 30 minutes
$4 per print – 31 to 60 minutes
$6 per print – 1 hour to 3 hours
$8 per print – 3 hours to 6 hours
$11 per print – 6 hours to 8 hours
$13 per print – 8 hours to 10 hours

Students can pay through Bull Bucks.  However, the daily free printing rule does not apply to 3D printing.

What is AVC? 
The Advanced Visualization Center staff assists students and faculty with the creation of visualizations for education and research. We also provide training on advanced software applications and data visualization techniques.
