Board of Governors Reappoints Two to USF Board of Trustees

Hal Mullis and Brian Lamb will serve terms ending in 2020.

TAMPA, Fla. (March 19, 2015) – Two University of South Florida Board of Trustees members have been reappointed by the Florida Board of Governors.

USF’s Board Chair Harold “Hal” W. Mullis and Vice Chair Brian Lamb were reappointed for terms beginning today and ending Jan. 6, 2020.

Mullis is President of Trenam Kemker and a founding member of the law firm. Mullis received his bachelor’s degree from Emory University and his JD from the University of Virginia. He has served on the Board since 2010.

Lamb is President and CEO for the Fifth Third Bank (North Florida). He received his BS in accounting from University of South Florida and is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate Banking School at the University of Pennsylvania. Lamb has served on the Board since 2010.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

USF’s Board of Trustees is composed of 13 members. Six are appointed by the Governor of the State of Florida and five are appointed by the Board of Governors. The other two members are the elected representative of the University of South Florida System Student Advisory Council and the President of the University of South Florida System Faculty Council.
