USF System campuses remain closed on Friday

Due to Tropical Storm Hermine all classes are cancelled for Sept. 2.

Dear USF Community:

Due to the tropical weather system continuing to impact the Tampa Bay region, all University of South Florida System campuses - Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee – will remain closed on Friday, September 2. All Friday classes are cancelled.

Only essential personnel should report to work on Friday. Employees who are unsure if they have been designated as essential personnel should check with their supervisor as soon as possible.

All campuses will reopen on Saturday, September 3. Normal business operations will resume on Saturday and weekend classes will be held as scheduled.

The USF Health South Tampa Center for Advanced Healthcare, other south Tampa medical clinics and the USF Health Morsani Center for Advanced Health Care will all be open on Friday. Regular operating hours will be in effect, but clinical staff should check with their supervisor to confirm their schedule.

USF Athletics expects to hold all scheduled events on campus Friday, however weather conditions will continue to be monitored. The USF football game on Saturday night at Raymond James Stadium will be played as scheduled at 7 p.m.
