Dean Moy arrived at USF in 2012 after spending time at Nova Scotia College of Art & Design in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His artistic vision grew out of the shapes he discovered through an electron microscope at the University of Illinois, where he worked for a bio-lab. Previously on a pre-med track following his parents’ wishes, he discovered that he enjoyed the intricacies of the art in science, shifting gears to study all elements of art.

Dean Moy’s world travels bring an incredibly diverse perspective to the College of The Arts at USF and his love for art encourages instilling a multifaceted approach to inspire all of the students that find themselves in this exciting and dynamic college environment.
